Downey | McElroy

The roots of Downey | McElroy date back to the 1940s and the West Palm Beach law firm Paty & Downey, co-founded by the late Florida Appellate Court Judge James C. Downey who was thereafter joined by his brother, Daniel Downey. In 1992, Daniel’s son Edward joined Daniel in the practice and they created Downey & Downey, P.A as the successor firm. Daniel Downey passed away in 2014.

In 2005, Attorney Lee McElroy joined Downey & Downey, P.A. and, after Daniel’s death, Edward and Lee created Downey | McElroy in 2015.
